Artifacts such as photos, manuscripts, books, and information about the life and works of Sherwood Anderson keep his legacy alive. Sherwood Anderson Literary Center seeks opportunities to collect these kinds of artifacts for educational purposes. Additionally, putting on classroom talks and school visits, organizing museum displays, and addressing audiences with historical and literary interests are the means by which we make Sherwood Anderson's life come alive today for people of all ages and backgrounds. Given Anderson's geographic connections to Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, Upstate New York, and the American West, there are ample opportunities to tell Anderson's story -- not only as it relates to today -- but also as it relates to where you are.
Sherwood Anderson Literary Center is in the process of developing an entirely new way of publishing new authors and providing access -- and an audience -- for their works. Though the means is still in the development phase, keep your hope afloat. Keep writing, maintain and update your manuscripts, and connect with us through Facebook or Twitter. We're not fully active in social media right now because we're dedicating our time, efforts, and resources to providing the best means of publishing your work and helping you not only make a living as the kind of writer that you are but also helping you live the writer's life.
